Provocative Mexican Photography

Worthwhile: The Photography of México exhibit at SFMOMA. Beautiful, harsh, hopeful. The interesting and more terrifying pieces were a collection of pics from crime photographer Enrique Metinides. Very provocative.

Untitled (Intento suicida desde el Torea, Ciudad de Mexico), 1971. This piece has several frames so it takes you a moment to grasp the scene, but it’s pretty intense when you realize what youre looking at.
